I am Dr. Queenie — educator, pattern scientist, and strategic advisor to parents and leaders who refuse to leave brilliance to chance. For over 25 years I have worked at the intersection of education, leadership, and human development — from the 1st grade classroom to the boardrooms of organizations shaping the next generation. My private practice has taken me into the homes of some of the most discerning families in the country. What I found in every one of them confirmed what I had already learned in the classroom: brilliance is not the exception. It is the design.

Creating 10,000 Brilliant Thinkers

I began as a classroom teacher (first and second grade), where I first observed the pattern that would define everything I would build: the most confident, intellectually alive children all had one thing in common. Someone at home believed in their brilliance before the world had a chance to confirm or deny it. That observation became the foundation of my methodology, my practice, and eventually my life's mission.

Over the course of my career I have worked with families that most practitioners never have access to, quietly, precisely, and with deep commitment to the outcomes of every child I have served. The families of Kevin Hart, Stevie Wonder, Cedric the Entertainer, Keisha and Omar Epps, and Christina Milian have trusted me with their most precious investment. What I brought to each of those relationships was not a curriculum. It was a framework, a way of seeing the child, reading their patterns, and designing an environment where their particular genius had no choice but to emerge.

I call this Pattern Science™. It is the proprietary methodology at the core of everything I do, in my coaching practice, in my corporate work, and in the institutions I am building for the next generation.

Today I serve in two primary capacities. As Founding Director of Equity at one of the largest public school networks in Los Angeles, I lead transformation across 20+ schools, designing systems, shifting culture, and building the kind of education infrastructure that should have existed all along.

Through my private practice and brands (Mama Be Brilliant® and Brilliant Thinker & Co), I work directly with high-achieving parents, executives, and organizations who understand that developing brilliance is not a soft priority. It is the most strategic investment a person, a family, or a company can make.

I founded Mama Be Brilliant® on the belief that the modern working mother is one of the most underserved and over-scrutinized human beings in America. She is brilliant, capable, and carrying more than any system was designed to support. My work gives her a framework, a community, and (through MBB at Work™) a corporate benefit that finally treats her development as the business priority it actually is.

I am informed by the legacies of Mary McLeod Bethune and Marva Collins, two women who understood that building a brilliant thinker is not an act of enrichment. It is an act of liberation.
